Salary for TNPSC Group One Posts

Rs.15000/- 39100+ 5400 Grade Pay ( Nearly Rs.48,000/- first month pay)

Educational Qualification - Any Degree 

(Degree should be studied in SSLC+Plus Two+ UG Degree Pattern)

Can Final Year Students Apply for TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2015 ?

Yes , according to TNPSC Group One 2015 notification, the candidates, who have written the final year degree examination may also apply for the TNPSC Group One Preliminary Examination 2015. But they should produce proof of having passed the degree examination when they are admitted to write Main Examination. 

Candidates who passed the final year MBBS or any other Medical Examination but have not completed the internship also can apply for the TNPSC Group 1 Preliminary Exam. But, whe they are admitted into the main written exam, they should submit a copy of certificate of passing the final examination. 

Age Limit to Apply for TNPSC Group 1 Examination

Minimum Age Limit  - 21 years 

Maximum Age Limit 

BC/MBC/SC/ST   - 35 Years 

Others                    -30 Years 

For candidates possessing BL Degree 

BC/MBC/SC/ST - 36 Years 

Others        -31 Years

TNPSC Group 1 Selection Procedure

The Group 1 Selection is done in three stages. 

First Stage  : Preliminary Examination - It is a screening test only. The marks of preliminary examination will not be counted for final selection list.  The candidates will be allowed to write the main examination in the 1: 50 ratio ( 50 times of the total number of vacancies).

Second stage : Main Examination (Three Descriptive type papers)

Third State : Interview

Physical Qualification for DSP Posts in the TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2015 

For Men Candidates : 

Height  - Not less than 165 cms
Chest   - Not lest than 86 cms round the chest on full inspiration.                    Must have chest expansion of not less than 5 cms on full                  inspiration.

For Women Candidates: 

Height : Not less than 155 cms
(Chest measurement not applicable)

TNPSC Group 1 Main Examination Pattern

Three Papers in Generala Studies - Descriptive Types Degree Standard.

Each Papers will have questions for 300 Marks .(3 hours each)

Examination fee for TNPSC Group One Exam 2015 

Preliminary Exam

Examination Fee Rs.75/- + Application Cost Rs.50/-

Main Exam - Rs.125/-

Note : 

• Candidates claiming fee,  exepmtion also have to pay the application cost. 
• Candidates already have the One Time Registration need not to pay application cost for 5 years
